Bundaleer Reservoir is a stocked water near Spalding in the southern Flinders Ranges of South Australia.
Bundaleer and the Barossa Valley’s Warren Reservoir were stocked around the same time in 2016, with 24,000 native fish.
These included 8000 Murray cod, 11,000 golden perch and 3800 silver perch.
Bundaleer’s shoreline does not have many features or fish-holding structure but the fish are usually easy enough to find.
Other SA fishing reservoirs are Beetaloo Reservoir, the Warren and South Para Reservoirs near Williamstown, and the Myponga Reservoir on the Fleurieu Peninsula,.
Bundaleer Reservoir was built around 1900 to supplement nearby Beetaloo Reservoir and supply water to nearby towns.
It is now a contingency reservoir.
